More than 66% of websites on the internet are by CMS platforms And WordPress takes about 56%. With such a huge presence there are so many free plugins and add ons available for ADA compliance. However not all of them are coded as per new accessibility standards. The web accessibility is now mandatory for commercial online businesses since January 2021. My job is to make WP based website comply with ADA, WCAG2.1 A/AA standards and AODA for Canadian Region. To ensure it is accessible by visually impaired or those with hearing aid; all the screen readers are working including JAWS, NVDA etc. Addition of W3 compliance rules for the pages made with various builders including SeedProd, Elementor, Beaver, Divi and Themify etc.
